Capturing the essence of a couple's special day is what every wedding photographer strives for. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful couple in Birgu, Malta, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
The day started with me meeting the bride and her bridesmaids at a stunning traditional house in Birgu where they were getting ready. The light was perfect and the preparations were calm and joyful, making it a perfect opportunity to take some gorgeous pre-wedding photos.
After the preparations, we headed to the church in Birgu for the ceremony. The church was grand and historic, providing the perfect backdrop for the couple's vows. As a wedding photographer, I always aim to capture the emotions and small moments that make each wedding unique. The bride and groom were both emotional during the ceremony, and I was able to capture the intimacy of the moment through my camera lens.
After the ceremony, we took a traditional Maltese boat to the Lower Barrakka Gardens where the reception was held. This provided an excellent opportunity to take some stunning photos of the couple, surrounded by the beauty of the Maltese sea.
Once we arrived at the venue, I continued to document the rest of the day, capturing all the special moments from the speeches to the dancing. As the night went on, the couple and their guests were beaming with joy, and it was an honor to be a part of such a special day.
As a wedding photographer, it's always a privilege to capture the love and joy of a couple on their wedding day.
